Why do the sides of my nose smell like cheese or cheetos when I rub against it with my fingers.?

I've noticed this for about a month now. For all you smart people out there, it is not because I just ate cheetos.

I have no idea.
I have this too, though.
I noticed the same smell under my toenail (big toe) and researched that... it seems to be a bacterial infection according to the toenails.
I'm not sure how that could be on the sides of the nose though...
Under the nail it is because bacteria grows in moist areas, and I guess if your nose is similar to mine the creases beside it are pressing your 'cheeks' making a crease? So maybe it is bacterial, too.
I also notice this behind my ears, too.
Very odd.
I don't like cheese anymore.

Bacteria. If you get black heads or places that are harder to clean out that are really oily will have a bad cheesy smell. Get a facial, is biore strips, try witch hazel as a facial toner.
