Drink plenty of water, it may be a dehydration headache.

Then try squeezing very firmly the meaty part between your thumb and pointer finger. This is a pressure point and should help to releave your headache.

Sounds like a migraine headache. If you like coffee they say drinking a strong cup of coffee will help a headache. Sometimes I do that before I take meds for my headaches. Also I was told by a dr to apply ice to a headache. So if it is in front wrap an ice pack in a towel and lay it over your head for a few minutes. I get headaches in the back of my head and I lay down with an ice cold water bottle and it works (sometimes)

Yeah, and without a chiropractor too. I never heard that one before. Headaches are caused by muslces in the neck, back and shoulders that are tight. You can check that out on your next headache. To release those muscles that are tight so the headaches go away do this: For your neck: place your hand alongside your head and push your thumb in under your ear and place it on the muscle there. Take your fingers and place them on the back of your neck on the muscles there. Press them together and hold a good amount of pressure on them. Then relax, take a deep breath an happening, the muscle going limp under the pressure. Continue to hold until the entire muscle has gone limp. Back: Place your left hand on your left knee. Place your right hand over your left shoulder and with your fingertips find the muscle next to your spine. Press on it and hold. Relax, take a deep breath and exhale and don’t tense up any part of your body. After about 30 seconds there should be a release happening and when it does slowly lower yourself forward onto your right leg or even over it if you can, the more over the better it is. Continue holding for a total of one minute. Then release but rest your body there for one minute longer. Then reverse and do the right side. Do the one on your back first and then the neck.

Could be a sinus headache. Stand in a hot shower . . . with the water as hot as you can stand it, and let it run over your head for as long as you can stand it. My doctor had me do this when I had sinus headaches a long time ago. Also, you might try to place hot compresses (washcloth soaked in hot water or something like that) on your forehead. If the headache persists, I suggest contacting the doctor . . . there are different treatments that do not require medicine . . . and there is always the chance that something serious may be happening to your body.

Whenever a headache strikes drink lots of water .Lack of oxygen may have lead to your headache. Place a few ice-cubes in a polythene bag, and apply this on the forehead and temples. Check out http://useinfo-headache.blogspot.com/ for more info

I suffer from headaches alot too, and I try not to have to resort to medication all of the time. The pressure points squeezing can work sometimes; like squeezing between your thumb and forefinger on your hand, or another one my mum told me was your earlobes. I'm not sure if that's true or not, but a cold washcloth on the forehead and across the eyes combined with squeezing the pressure points works alot of the time for me.

Aspricreme can be applied directly to the headache area (if you don't like swollowing pills).

Try a cold compress and a nap in a darkened room. Sleep makes everything better.

Drink water, most headaches come from dehydration.

Caffine also helps get rid of headaches.
