Lithium is used to treat and prevent episodes of mania (frenzied, abnormally excited mood) in people with bipolar disorder (manic depressive disorder; a disease that causes episodes of depression, episodes of mania, and other abnormal moods). Lithium is in a class of medications called antimanic agents. It works by decreasing abnormal activity in the brain.

Consult your doctor or a pharmacologist.

Dont do what my Dad did, he was on lithium and wasnt supposed to drink so he quit taking his pills so he could drink. He ended up getting evicted from 2 apartments in 1 years time. He would be homeless right now if my sister hadnt gotten him some help. Hes in assisted living and has no money left for alcohol. Follow doctor's orders and do your best to give up the booze.

Because alcohol can act as a diuretic, you may lose more fluid than you are taking in. This can lead to confusion, and even death. This is another reason not to drink when you are on Lithium. Any one of Lithium needs to keep well hydrated.

Yes. Very bad. You would be mixing uppers and downers (stimulants and depressants). The combination can be lethal.
