No matter how much sleep I get at night, I always seem to be tired during the day, all day everyday, but then as soon as I go to my room to sleep I'm wide awake and can't sleep even if I havnt slept at all that day. What can be causing this and how do I fix it?

It could be what your eating. When you wake up in the morning, you should eat a healthy breakfast, or else your body will still be in sleep mode, storing fat and making you tired, like you are still asleep. I get this a lot because sometimes i dont even eat breakfast haha. another reason might be what your eating throughout the day. You should be eating 3 meals a day with very small snack in between. Like ten nuts or something like that. This will help balance you body, blood sugar levels, hormones and metabolism. You dont need to eat absolutely perfect like this to get a good nights sleep, so if you think you are eating fairly well, then it might be another reason. Maybe try a non addictive, natural sleeping pill like Valerian Root to help you get in the groove of being tired at night and soon you can go off of it (maybe a week or so) and you will see that your body will start to be tired at the time you were going to bed at before. It's kind of like a jet leg affect. You could also try drinking warm milk before bed and having a cold shower (not hot because that will stimulate you muscles and senses and help keep you awake.

Hope this helps :)

Go see your doctor! There is no quick fix.
