I don't imagine taking a shower twice a day will hurt you but why twice? It may end up drying out your skin a bit. Do you get really dirty at your job or something. Washing your hair every 2-3 days is recommended in order to keep it from getting too dry or damaged. Do you just like water, or is this a "compulsion". If the latter is so, perhaps some counseling would help. Showering twice a day must take up a lot of your time.

Pros- you are ridiculously clean.
Cons-
You waste water, which costs you or your parents alot of money and is horrible for the enviroment. If you have hard water, mineral deposits start building up in your hair, along with in your shower and in the pipes- which, over time, can cause alot of damage.
You remove essential oils from your skin and hair. Washing skin more then a few times a day irritates it, causing breakouts. Hair is also more brittle when it is wet, so brushing or combing your hair after you shower causes more breakage.
Stick to showering once a day unless you've been to the gym or something along those lines.

Well washing your hair that much is really bad for it. If you don't wash your hair every time, showers can still make your skin dry but at the same time, it's nothing lotion can't heal.
I take like 3 a day, don't wash my hair very often and put on a lot of lotion and I seem to be in good shape. :)

Unless you work a really nasty dirty job 1 shower is plenty. With all of the shortages on natural resources it does not really make sense to take 2 showers a day. During the summer there are always water shortages.

There is such a thing as over washing the hair unless you get it dirty all day. Two showers a day, I assume when you get up and at bedtime, sounds like your a very clean person, nothing wrong with that at all.

Showering too often dries out your skin. You have natural oils on your skin that protect it and you are washing them off.
Even washing your hair every day isn't all that recommended for the exact same reason. Sometimes being obsessed with being clean isn't a good thing.

No cons except you may dry out more...especially in the winter. The pro is that you always smell nice and get to lotion up with some fabulous scented & luxurious balms.

I shower every morning and only have a second shower if I've been to the gym in the afternoon. I hope you have 4 minute power-showers!!! :) (I'm from Australia where all our water is going, so we're all very water-wise!)

Pros- you'll be very clean, you'll pretty much always look good, you'll probably get sick less
Cons-you're hair will dry out really bad eventually even if you use a super moisturising conditioner(unless you don't wash it every time), your skin will get dry and you'll use more lotion in turn, you'll use more soap and shampoo and conditioner so you'll have to buy more

The con is that it will take you one and one half times as long as once a day.

pros: smell good
cons: you can remove essential body oils
I'd say take a shower twice and moisturize

None, unless you scrub and shower so hard that you remove the "Good Bacteria" from your skin!

No problem with that, still excess of everything is bad.
Take care of your skin and also leave some water for your neighbours.
